Cassper Nyovest bags executive producer title on ‘The Braai Show’

Cassper Nyovest says he is bringing a new twist to the ‘The Braai Show’. He’s also bagged himself credit as executive producer of the show.

Cassper Nyovest announced his new television gig on 9 August. The rapper will be the host for the second season of The Braai Show. The news was met with plenty of confusion but Cassper has made it clear where he stands on the matter.

CASSPER NYOVEST SEES INTO THE FUTURE

Cassper took to Twitter to share what he anticipates might happen when The Braai Show airs in early September. 

In his tweet, he mentions that if AKA had some share of The Braai Show; he would’ve been able to stop the show from airing. 

He wrote, “There will be noise for two weeks from his fans saying I suck, the show is gonna blow up and ima cash out. If he owns it he woulda stopped the show from airing.” 

He further emphasised that the show has not been halted from airing and that everything will go ahead as planned. 

THE EXECUTIVE PRODUCER TITLE

In a legal notice sent out to the SABC by Tailormade Legal Solutions on behalf of AKA, it was stated that one of their demands is for AKA to receive an executive producer credit. 

Production company Cake Media shared that AKA would play no role in the second season of The Braai Show

On Tuesday night 17 August, on his Twitter page, Cassper shared that he would be receiving credit as executive producer of the show. 

“Had to add my vibe you know!!! The done Billiato!!!”, he wrote.

THE BRAAI SHOW LATEST UPDATE

Daily Sun reported that Cake Media released a statement on Saturday, demanding AKA retract all statements about The Braai Show. The production company also demanded that AKA apologise for “damage” caused by his remarks. 

The deadline for the apology was on Monday, 16 August at 13:00. No apology had been given by the Caiphus Song rapper.
