About Adele’s Easy on me

Adele‘s Easy on Me continues its run as the biggest song in the world, as it spends a third week at No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts (as of 13 November).

The first song of her new album mainly takes fans through her divorce from charity CEO Simon Konecki.

The Grammy award-winning singer also used the rest of her album 30 as a way to explain her divorce to her eight-year-old son Angelo. (The third track on the album, My Little Love features a voice memo Adele recorded with Angelo.)

“He has so many simple questions for me that I can’t answer because I don’t know the answer. Like, ‘Why can’t we still live together?’ That’s just not what people do when they get divorced. ‘But why not?’ I’m like, ‘I don’t f*cking know,’” she told Vogue in an exclusive interview.

She describes 30 as “her” album. “I want to share myself with everyone, but I don’t think I’ll ever let this one go.”
