contestants from Nigeria and South Africa will play the game for the ultimate prize of R1.7 million.

The Big Brother Titans features 20 contestants aka housemates from Nigeria and South Africa who will live together under one roof for 72 days, to give audiences a show of intense drama like never before.

WHO ARE THE ‘BIG BROTHER TITANS’ HOUSEMATES?

This special edition Big Brother Titans, which is bringing housemates from Nigeria and South Africa is a fusion of two TV phenomena, BBNaija and BB Mzansi. Viewers met the 20 contestants across the two giant nations such as Nana, Olivia, Yemi Cregx from Nigeria and Juicy Jay, Khosi, Nelisa, who are South Africans.

According to bbnaijadaily, Chief Executive Officer, MultiChoice Nigeria, John Ugbe revealed the winner will take home a prize of $100,000 (R1.7 million) cash. 

“Big Brother Titans is a special edition of the widely loved Big Brother show. This special edition is a fusion of two TV phenomena, BBNaija and BB Mzansi. We are bringing housemates from two giant nations, Nigeria and South Africa, under one roof, to give African entertainment audiences a show of intense drama like never before. We are telling our audience to be ready for the biggest takeover on TV starting from January 15. It promises an abundance of Nigerian and South African swag, banter, romance, and everything in between.” 

The reality TV show is co-hosted by BBNaija’s Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and BBMzansi’s Lawrence Maleka and sponsored by Flutterwave, Bamboo, Lotto Star, and Nigerian Breweries.

SOUTH AFRICA: KHOSI

According to DStv, Khosi is a 25-year-old journalist from KwaZulu-Natal whose personality suits her journalism profession as she’s talkative, open-minded, adventurous and also self-aware. She says: “If you deserve fire, then fire shall come to you.”

NIGERIA: YEMI CREGX

Yemi Cregx is an outgoing 30-year-old actor and model, who is originally from Ekiti State in Nigeria, now in Lagos. He is confident and highly competitive individual, who’s also known for wearing his heart on his sleeve.

SOUTH AFRICA: JUICY JAY

Juicy Jay is a 24-year-old semi-pro rugby player from Eastern Cape in South Africa. He is described as a charismatic, energetic, competitive and someone who loves to mingle and loves living on the edge.

NIGERIA: OLIVIA

Olivia is a 22-year-old aspiring actress originally from Imo State in Nigeria. She is daring, a big dreamer and a glam girl with a little bit of a wild side.

SOUTH AFRICA: NELISA

25-year-old Nelisa is originally from the Eastern Cape in South Africa lives Johannesburg is described as spunky, lively personality who tends to wear her heart on her sleeve.

NIGERIA: BLAQBOI

Blaqboi is an aspiring filmmaker and content creator originally from Plateau State in Nigeria, who now lives in Jos. He is 26, cool, calm, level-headed, charming, funny, and confident with plenty of street smarts.

SOUTH AFRICA: MMELI

24-year-old content creator and model Mmeli is described as both fearless and street smart with a naughty streak. He lives in Hillbrow, Johannesburg, South. Africa likes partying and has no qualms about what others think about him.

NIGERIA: NANA

Nana is a 22-year-old entrepreneur, who is originally from Kaduna State in Nigeria. She is soft-spoken, doesn’t conform to social norms and comes off as timid.

Ipeleng is a 24-year-old law student, who is originally from the North West in South Africa. She has a sense of humour, shy and is close to her parents.

NIGERIA: MARVIN

Marvin is a 28-year-old model and chemical engineer, who is originally from Port Harcourt in Nigeria, who now lives in Texas, United States of America. He is charismatic, well-travelled adventurer and has a sense of humour.

SOUTH AFRICA: THABANG

Soweto-born sports data analyst Thabang is described a go-getter who knows his game. The 21-year-old is also charming, level-headed and in touch with his emotions.

NIGERIA: JAYPEE

Nigerian housemate Jaypee is a 26-year-old nurse and model, who is also a liberal lover of love and flirty, confidence and open minded.

SOUTH AFRICA: YAYA

Yaya is a 30-year-old plus size mode, who is originally from the Eastern Cape, South Africa. She is described as talkative, mature and quietly confident with a bold personality and isn’t afraid to be vulnerable, according to DStv.

NIGERIA: EBUBU

Ebubu is 28-year-old actor, model who is originally from Anambra State in Nigeria. He is an actor, and model, who is street smart, open-minded and interested in the world around him. He is resilience and viewers can expect a lot of humour and calmness from him.

SOUTH AFRICA: LUKAY

Lukay is a 31-year-old sales executive from KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. He is highly empathetic, a traditionalist, who is self-aware and also brutally honest.

NIGERIA: JENNI O

Jenni O is a health and safety specialist, who is 24 and originally from Imo State, Nigeria, and now lives in the United States of America. According to DStv, she’s spontaneous, spicy, talkative, colourful and a daredevil with opinions.

SOUTH AFRICA: TSATSII

NIGERIA: KANAGA JNR

Aspiring actor and model Kanaga Jnr is originally from Abia State in Nigeria. The 23-year-old is described as charming yet candid, expressive yet calm. He’s got a thing for older women, sensitive, has a boyish charm and is mature for his age.

SOUTH AFRICA: JUSTIN

Justin is a 21-year-old photographer from East London, South Africa, who is easy-going, fun, engaging, loves to laugh, and that responsible friend.

NIGERIA: YVONNE

28-year-old content creator and model Yvonne is a pastor’s kid, who is originally from Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria. She resilient and bold and believes she was made for the soft life and is used to getting what she wants.
