Love Is Blind: After The Altar is premiering on 16 September and judging by the trailer, a lot has transpired between the season two married couples Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones, and Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson.

What about the singles? Kyle Abrams, Shaina Hurley, Natalie Lee, Shayne Jansen, Mallory Zapata, and Salvador “Sal” Perez and Deepti Vempati.

‘LOVE IS BLIND: AFTER THE ALTAR’ OFFICIAL TRAILER IS OUT

Netflix released a teaser this week for the Love Is Blind special following the post-pod lives of the remaining singles and couples of the second season.

“After the experiment, reality comes into focus. What happened to the couples and singles from Love is Blind Season 2 after the weddings? Love is truly blind, but is the future blurry? Follow the stories of Jarrette, Iyanna, Deepti, Shayne, Natalie and more,” reads the official synopsis.

In the trailer, Iyanna is heard calling her husband, Jarrette, “immature”.

“Marriage is not easy. If anybody tries to tell you it is, that’s a lie,” says Jarrette in the trailer before he adds, “I made my bed, guess I gotta lie in it.”

Another part of the clip shows some drama with Shayne, Shaina and Natalie, and it seems love-triangle-related.

There also seems to be a relationship brewing between Deepti and Kyle. During the pods, Kyle proposed to Shaina. Abhishek “Shake” Chatterjee (who’s absent in the trailer) had proposed to Deepti. Both couples had broken up during the reunion.

ARE THE MARRIED COUPLES STILL TOGETHER?

When the season ended, two couples had gotten married and in June this year, they celebrated their first wedding anniversary.

Spoiler alert: None of the couples are still together.

According to E! News, Danielle Ruhl filed for divorce from Nick Thompson in a Chicago court on 15 August.

Last week, Jarrette Jones and Iyanna McNeely also called it quits.

“After much thought, we’re saddened to share that we have separated and will begin the process of divorcing,” the couple said in a joint statement shared on Instagram.

“While we have love for each other, our lives are going in different directions, and that’s okay. Coming to this decision was far from easy and we will always wish each other the absolute best.”
