B.U. GENUINELY LOVES VENUS

Johannesburg-based musician and actor B.U. recently revealed that he was sad to be leaving his housemate lover – Venus behind.

He told Drum magazine that he connected with Venus so well that he sees a potential relationship outside the reality TV show.

“Venus is my ride or die. Her weirdness complimented mine.”

He prepared Venus for a potential exit before he exited the show on Sunday.

“I don’t think she was surprised; we had spoken about it.”

“I pulled her to the side, we had our little moment.”

“We were both hoping it would not happen but when it did, it was emotional.”

He also tells the publication that he didn’t see himself meeting a person like her as he was going into the game for the money and didn’t plan to build something special with anyone.

HIS VIEWS ON THE OTHER #BBMZANSI HOUSEMATES

Mthembu adds that Gash1 should be the next housemate to leave if Venus does not win the prize.

“He plays like a chess player.”

“Gash1 is strategic, and he is one of the strongest players.”

“The best thing to do is get the strongest people out first.”

“He is playing the housemates and yet winning over the viewers and letting them see what he wants to see.”

“He is smarter than what the housemates think.”

He also quit his job in corporate in August to give his music his full attention.

“I had a good well-paying job with benefits. I worked my way up from a promoter and it took me two and half years, but I had to leave to pursue my dream after a friend suggested I join Big Brother,” he says.

He’s also appeared in two Netflix films, Happiness Ever After and Entangled, and has done a few adverts.

He’s planning to release his single and music video titled The Packager featuring rapper Reason.

“I have a music video with Reason coming out.”

“I have done a lot of work. After that, I will release my five-track EP titled Kill TJ.”
