Babes Wodumo found out on social media that Mampintsha died
Mampintsha’s wife Babes Wodumo is said to have found out about the news of his passing via social media. A nurse is apparently responsible.

The wife of the late music producer and performer Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo, Babes Wodumo is said to have found out about the news of his untimely passing through social media.
According to a clip shared by Newzroom Afrika, Babes was expecting Mampintsha to be discharged on the day of his death on 24 December but instead woke up to the news of his passing.

NURSE LEAKS NEWS OF MAMPINTSHA’S DEATH
The reporter said that one of the nurses in one of the wards where Mampintsha was admitted at is the one that broke the news to certain people and then the word got put that he had passed.
“The family was very unpleased with this because then that’s how unfortunately his wife had to find out through social media and that’s where they saw a very distraught Babes Wodumo who couldn’t even contain herself because of the way she found out,” she said.

She also added that the family has appealed to the public to stop sharing information of that nature when the family has not been informed.
Babes Wodumo was also said to have been unable to speak to the media to address the passing of her husband, She had to be attended to medically.

MPINTSHO’S MOTHER NOT ALLOWED TO SEE BODY
Reports have also emerged that Mampintsha’s mother Zamanguni Gumede has been denied access to his body.
According to Ezivuthayo Emaputaland, Zamanguni went to see Mampintsha’s body at Westville so that she can believe that he has passed but she was not allowed to.
The publication also reports that Mampintsha’s sister and manager Nondumiso Simelane is the one with the paper that declares those who can and cannot see the ‘Ngeke Ngvume’ singer, “whoever wants to see the body has to ask her”.
