‘SEE YOU NEXT WEDNESDAY’

See You Next Wednesday comes after Belly’s 2018 album IMMIGRANT, which was one of his most impactful releases. The 15-track album has features from Lil Uzi Vert, Gunna, NAV and Big Sean.

He shared that the album pays homage to film director John Landis.

“That phrase [‘see you next Wednesday’] was kind of like an easter egg that he would drop in all of his movies. Even in Thriller when MJ’s walking out of the theatre, you hear somebody whisper ‘see you next Wednesday’.”
