I THANK GOD I’M ALIVE

I am not saving the speech,
The reigning Sovereign King has made me to plant words as if seeds beneath the flesh.

My storms couldn’t have roared without me, that would have spoiled the script when the scroll is rolled,
because His glory wouldn’t have been seen.
He is the jealous Father
He is the self-existing God
He is set apart and dwells in the deep
where He hides mysteries,
And he who seeks Him will find Him,
For the deep calls to deep.

I see the Universe as the beauty of His wings, each time they flaps, The clock ticks
Unfolding the rising of the sun and the setting to the dusk.
The inner part of His wings are the reflection of the night,
Galaxies and the moon moving slowly like a
Satin being blown away by the wind
whispering “He who dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty”,
The outer part of His wings,
The Sun speaks through the rays
“I am the light of the world whoever follows me will never walk in darkness
But will have light of life”

Thank God I am alive
The jaws of the flaming bear
Would have consumed my flesh.
Vultures gathered, circled my life
Waited for my downfall so they can feast on me, but God.

I am going to Shiloh
To the place of my origin, before the Lord
For the Messiah has been good to me.
He has placed His covenant in my heart,
My heart is burning with gratitude like furnace,
Pure gold running over, but it cannot sum Him up.

I will not talk about Him as if He is not here,
I call Him the unseen but forever found God,
for the physical sight cannot behold Him.
He turned my storms into favour, this rain is peace in abundance.

When my own father rejected me
He says ” I am your Father from Genesis to Revelations.
I didn’t have a name
He says “You’re called by my name”
In a deep dark hole leading to nowhere
He says “I am the way”
I got lost in the nothingness within me
He says “my thoughts are not your own neither are your ways”

A thousand oceans I have flown
Yet I have not seen a God like you.
Scientists tried to define you
Yet they cannot cure death.

I thank God I’m Alive.
