FLYING HIGH IN THE SKY EATING DIVINE PIE

He strum his fingers playing her like a fiddle,

Glaring, mischievous wicked-smile, thumbs to twiddle.

It was so grand the exercise to cause a remission,

Games on a playground maze, vicious ironic competition.

Fashioning the mystery under a mist of doubt,

Steps ahead, provocation, an upper-hand . . . a mindless bout.

Gliding through a tree swinging as a monkey,

And then to greet, meet, sit and eat until off to more company!

Savage in heart and gut,

Lonesome, maniacal, placing fantasy-in-a-rut.

But!

A space clearly marked, face it, act a mutt.

Careless whispers flounder until distracting,

A point to ponder, type-of-mode for interacting.

Precise as a cartographer positioning the poles,

Blindly-seeking, tripping, falling, too many potholes.

For fear of sounding loud,

Love took a back seat, losing to a peacock-proud.

Wading through dark, empty alleys hisses everywhere,

From glitz to glamour, then consistently utter despair.

Facing darkness for another situation,

Lining streets gloating in the illusion.

Cold, dark fusion,

To sate a desire filled in states of confusion.

Rambling aimlessly as if a drunkard,

Hope thwarted through failing generosity, always cornered.

Sweets mixed with a rancid undertaking,

Vixen-lipped smiles, cold hearts, eyes faking.

Dangerous are those who pursue without hesitation,

Selfish snakes slither inside perforated barriers, dire configuration.

We seek elation in all we act on,

The response gleans whether a winner has had fun.

To run and play with hair free to fly high in the sky,

Lips licking, belly filled with absolute Divine pie.

Oh why should I?

Some choose to live so sly!

And then they die.

Say: “Oh, no, I mean, I understand now . . . oh, why!”

Fly, no matter how high,

Even when there is no why!

To get a taste of the pie,

From One so High up in the Sky!
